Before and After Veneers - Case 4

This young lady had bonding placed a number of years ago. She was concerned that it was coming away and looked unaesthetic. She was only in Australia for a few weeks and wanted a better smile.
BEFORE: Note the irregular surface of the teeth, this is the bonding coming off the teeth due to an acidic diet the patient has consumed over a period of years. There are also signs of acid erosion of the enamel on her adjacent teeth. Note how these teeth have become darker as a result.
AFTER: This is the final image of our patient with porcelain veneers on the two front teeth. She wanted her new smile to look whiter to match the lower teeth. Correcting the colour difference between the veneers and the adjacent natural teeth will be easily achieved with tooth whitening.

This young lady had bonding placed on her two front teeth from a young age as illness had caused discoloration of the tips of her two front teeth. The bonding keeps discolouring and has been replaced on a few occasions. She is seeking a longer term solution with a better appearance.

This lady fractured her right front tooth on holiday in Greece a number of years ago. The emergency treatment was to place a resin veneer. You can see that the material is now starting to discolour. She asked me what could be done to improve her smile.
RESULTS: This shows the final result of a composite resin veneer. The original filling material is removed from the tooth and the new resin applied directly to the tooth surface. Up close we can see how good a colour match can be achieved.
