Dianne uses an evidence based, cognitive behavioural therapy approach (known as CBTi) that trains people to use techniques that address the mental (or cognitive) factors associated with insomnia. These are usually a racing mind, worry or other negative emotions like fear of not being able to get to sleep, stay asleep and fear about the consequences for the following day.
